From our founder, Sean Heins, to our superintendent, Andy Haynes, and our photographer and carpenter apprentice, Andrew McMullen, our team brings a wealth of experience and expertise to every project we undertake. Sean Heins, Founder
Andy Haynes, Superintendent
Andy Haynes has been a Superintendent with Spruce Properties for 2 years. With 23 years of commercial and residential experience, Andy oversees our projects and crews. Andy’s attention to detail and communication skills help our projects remain on schedule and within budget. Andy and his wife, Jen, reside in Kitsap County. Andy enjoys spending time with Jen, fishing and golfing in his time off.
Andrew McMullen, Photographer/Carpenter Apprentice
Poulsbo native, Andrew McMullin has been with Spruce Properties since the founding of the company. As an apprentice carpenter with a couple years of various construction experience in the past, he wanted to polish up his knowledge by learning as much as possible about the ins and outs of residential construction now that him and his wife have a home of their own. Besides working on projects at home in his spare time, he enjoys, motorcycles, bicycles, film-making, photography and being in the beautiful NW.

Rob Robinson, Forman
Rob is a skilled Foreman at 2atara with over 25 years of experience in the construction industry. His area of expertise primarily lies in residential projects on Bainbridge Island, where he has refined his skills and developed a keen eye for detail. In his free time, Rob indulges in his passion for fishing and has established his own company, RRJigs, which specializes in creating exquisite, handcrafted fishing lures. Additionally, he is a talented woodworker who enjoys crafting stunning chopping blocks.
Christopher Grey, Lead Carpenter
Meet Christopher, a lead carpenter with a passion for bringing ideas to life. Originally from Oakland California, he’s been fortunate to call the beautiful Pacific Northwest his home for most of his life. With about 7 years experience in construction, specializing in interior work and fine carpentry, he brings a diverse range of skills to the table. On top of that, Christopher has an educational background in drafting. After taking a break he found his way back to construction and couldn’t be happier. His main goal is to collaborate with with clients to create something truly special. He says “Let’s join forces and build something awesome together!”
Tristan Bush, Carpenter
Tristan has old school values and enjoys listing to, and playing music. He has an extensive background in concrete and is driven to work from sun up to sun down. He lives by his Lord’s guidance and is driven by compassion. His vision for his future is based on his drive and uses his knowledge of where he’s been to make the future brighter for everyone he encounters.
Hunter Smith, Carpenter
Hunter came to us with a mechanical background and was a mechanic for several years. His thirst for knowledge brought him to us to learn a new trade. He’s looking to turn himself into a jack of all trades, a Swiss Army knife if you will. Outside of work you can find him camping, working on cars, listening to rock music and enjoying the great outdoors.
Peter Kroenke is a Project Lead with Spruce Properties. Peter first got into building through the North Kitsap High School construction program. With 25 plus years of construction experience and firefighting, Peter is a great leader and teacher. Although specializing in new construction, Peter has taken on many of our remodel and deck projects. His love for family, Jesus and church make up most of his free time but he also loves the great outdoors.
Conner Taylor, Carpenter
Conner Taylor is a carpenter with Spruce Properties, who also brings a specialty in tile work. His degrees in Psychology and Art Therapy provide him with great communication skills and has unlocked his artistic side. Conner’s attention to detail and awesome problem solving skills ensure his projects are top notch. Conner loves the outdoors, classic rock, Jesus and Dwayne (The Rock) Johnson.
Lisa Bruchs, Office manager
Lisa has an extensive background in banking and has been working in office management for 11 years. She takes pride in her roll in assisting customers with an easy and smooth customer experience. In her spare time you can find her building out a school bus or volunteering on the Kitsap Rodeo Committee. She also enjoys spending time with her children and husband, camping, and family movie time by the fire.
